Mon 30th Sept 19 (M.I.P.):
Today I came into the lecture to find Annabeth wasn't here so I asked David where she was and he thought she might be off sick (even though last week Annabeth said "she was going to London this week" but I forgot she was going). so I believed what David said. So as there was no tutor that turned up I thought why not get started on my mental health animation as last week I didn't get through that much animating. When I started making the animation I thought to do meditation with the Emma rig as it seamed easier to animate (which it was). I use the techniques James showed Hasan in this morning Performance and character week 2 [?] showing use how to make a nice render using a skydome from Arnold renderer. When I added the white skydome to this animation I had to fiddle with the properties to get the look I wanted. I changed the intensity and the colour temperature of the light to get the look I wanted (as seen in this video below).
So after finishing the meditation animation I should it to some of my classmates and they said "it looked to simple" so I thought why not get her to do some yoga stretches to challenge myself & make the 2-4 second video look better (here is the yoga animation below).
**I used a yoga video on YouTube from Yoga With Adriene to
help me make this animation but I can't find the video.**
After rendering the video (yoga animation above) at university, when I got home I found out to edit them together that Emma rig had grey eyes and I didn't know how to get rid of them. So on Tuesday when I go in to do my Buckid character walks, as from the problem with Maya yesterday [?], I will ask him how to fix it.
Just tried out the fix James told this morning (change the evaluation mode, in settings-animation, from parallel to DG) at home and it didn't fix the Emma rig. But after I update to Maya 2019 it sorted out other rig for Performance and Character module (But head still broken) so I could still do the character walks [?], at home. Making me be able to stay at home, so I will wait till Friday to ask James the fix to my problem (in the hour I get to uni for the lecture).

Fixing Grey Eye
Today, an hour earlier to lecture, I asked James to come to the room I was in to help me fix the grey eye problem. It didn't take very long to figure it out the solution, James said that the Arnold renderer struggles to render textures with transparency so for the texture on the eyes we had to turn off the opaque setting on the texture with the transparency to show the eye texture underneath (as seen in these videos below).

SWOT Analysis Presentation
When the lecture started the topic up for discussion was SWOT Analysis. S.W.O.T. acronym stands for Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats, when Annabeth asked me what it stands for I knew the S and W but forgot what O and T stands for before she told me. This lecture today is all about the strengths & weaknesses I have or will have for the future. I will need analysis how I can get better with my abilities using the opportunities coming up in the future and avoiding the threat that might come up that will affect these abilities.

Advanced Emma Mediation
After we went through the SWOT analysis presentation Annabeth gave me some time to develop my mental health animation as I thought my animation was finished with the yoga / meditation video I created last week. But Annabeth said what would make this look better would be a window with a light shining through it and to only use the meditation animation (as seen below).

Doing these edits Annabeth told me to do advanced my animation and made Emma look a lot better. This built my animating in Maya skills to a new level.
