My 1st MAF Volunteer Shift
Day one of the Manchester Animation Festival volunteer shifts starts today. For my first event helping out at The Amazing Maurice Screen, I scanned everyone’s tickets/passes on entry. During the screening, I wanted to see what the movie was all about as I never heard about MAURICE. After The Amazing Maurice screening, in my opinion, I really enjoyed the 3D animated movie (the actions, the scares, the heroics). I stood at the door as everyone walked out and I asked everyone ‘did they enjoy the movie?’, most people said yes. When everyone was gone, I had a sneaky picture with the director of the movie.

At the end of my first shift, when I was leaving I saw festival 2022-2019 badges at the front desk that I was interested in buying sadly Jen Hall said the card machine wasn’t working/set up properly yet. So, they told me to come back tomorrow, but as I have the Delegate Desk (first thing), therefore I’ll try and buy the badges then.
