Live seminars
This morning I saw the welcome video to this event by Steve Henderson (MAF Director) and Jen Hall (MAF Producer/Programmer). They thanked me for supporting the online addition of MAF by buying a festival pass to help them screen the amazing films and showcase some fantastic events which I can now watch and re-watch on the viewing platform starting from today and ending on the 30th November 2020.
They want the festival to be interactive as possible so on some events such as their live panels and the MAF markets place. I will be able to ask questions directly via the chat. So I will try and do this to get the most out of the festival.
Due to the Coronavirus, it has been a difficult year for everybody and the festival organisers has been working hard to bring the scale and ambition of the usual festival to my home. They are really passionate about animation as much as I am but the festival won't be possible or wouldn't be possible without the generous support of their funders and partners who have helped to make MAF a reality this year.
They thanked me (the audience) to inspire them to face the challenge that come their way and their not only there for us but here because of me. So they thank me for joining them this year as they deliver new ways to inspire and celebrate the animated form.
So they told me to please enjoy the masterclasses, panels, screening, premieres, social events, and very thing else they have to offer at MAF which I will fully enjoy for these next two weeks.
