Today, I decided to learn how to crochet a Granny Square using basic stitches. To do this I viewed a HobbyCraft online tutorial video created by staff that demonstrated how to create a simple Granny Square (Step by Step). This was my first attempt at a crocheting project with a 5.5mm crochet hook and wool that was spare from a knitting project. I found the following the tutorial challenging for the first time of crocheting. I feel I’ve not done the right stitches for the granny square to look like a teardrop shape than a square that it was supposed to be. Below is an image of my work.
