After going to the crochet class on Saturday, I wanted to continue learning the granny square pattern. During the online lecture, I finished off my purple and blue granny square from the class. After finishing the crocheting class granny square (Purple & Blue), I really wanted to progress the technique, so I created another purple square, and I was enjoying crocheting.
After completing the other small squares, I started to create another square using a lot of different colours wool because I was enjoying myself crocheting so much I kept going till I made a giant crochet square (thinking about making it into a granny square blanket).
I did these other granny squares just evolve basic crocheting skills before creating my fully crocheted puppet. I really enjoyed crocheting the squares because it was very therapeutic and enjoyable. This helps me with my project as it aids me to figure out how to make a fully crochet puppet and understand the stitches I need to do without stressing.
So next I’m going to find a tutorial on how to create a simple crocheted doll to learn the simple stitched needed for my puppet.
