It was decided for all of the team to each create an individual poster, this was to work towards
deciding our overall design style for the final animation and as the aim was for a unanimous choice
this would enable us to stick with the group’s decision. I was aware my poster and drawing skills are
weak and need further development, so I struggled making a poster. I therefore thought it would be
best if I left it down to the people in the group that were more skilled at this type of work. What is
illustrated above is what my team members came up with.
I really like posters 1 and 3, but poster 2 which is in the middle I had my doubts about. Poster 2
seemed too simple compared to the other two which had more detail and depth. I found this a
useful process, however, the final animation was completely different to the poster mostly as the
ideas and drawing styles had developed over the period of the project.
7th Feb – Hannah said she would sketch up some more options for posters using these ones as
inspiration (she said it would be done for next Tuesday 14th Feb but they weren’t anywhere to be
seen then). It turned out that Hannah had other personal issues that prevented her from doing this
and this was one weak aspect of the group, as no one else took over Hannah’s work.
